Portaria do Ministério da Saúde amplia possibilidades no esporte para pessoas com deficiência
Uma recente Portaria editada pelo Ministério da Saúde, de número 875, editada no dia 16 de Maio de 2013, estabelece as regras e os critérios para apresentação e aprovação de projetos no âmbito do Programa Nacional de Apoio à Atenção da Saúde da Pessoa com Deficiência (PRONAS/PCD).
Em seu Artigo 8º, a Portaria 875 estabelece que "as ações e os serviços de reabilitação apoiados com as doações e os patrocínios captados por meio do PRONAS/PCD compreendem: ... Art. 9º Para fins do disposto no Art. 8º, consideram-se áreas prioritárias para execução das ações e serviços de reabilitação: II - prestação de serviços de apoio à saúde vinculados à prática esportiva de pessoas com .deficiência".
A expectativa é de que haja uma maior empregabilidade e renda para profissionais de Educação Física que atuam nessa área e o incremento do fomento ao esporte para pessoas com deficiência.

O Protocolo de Intenções tem como objeto o esforço conjunto dos partícipes em divulgar a campanha
“Você não precisa de doping para dar o seu melhor.”, ação que possui como objetivo a conscientização de atletas, técnicos,
estudantes e profissionais da área de Educação Física, com relação ao problema do doping, por meio de ações educativas,

Dos objetivos do CONDIESEF-MG
I – Congregar os dirigentes máximos das Instituições de Ensino Superior de Educação Física do Estado de Minas Gerais, ou seus representantes legais, no sentido de implementar políticas e ações técnicas, acadêmicas, científicas e administrativas para promover o desenvolvimento da Educação Física e suas áreas de abrangência profissional;
II – Incentivar a realização conjunta de eventos que busquem o desenvolvimento da pesquisa científica e tecnológica, das atividades de ensino de graduação e de pós graduação, atividades culturais e de extensão, relacionadas a Educação Física, ao Desporto e ao Lazer, bem como suas áreas de abrangências da atuação do profissional;
III – Articular convênios, contratos e acordos para atender aos objetivos das instituições participantes;
IV – Contribuir para o desenvolvimento de atividades científicas, culturais, artísticas e esportivas, vinculadas as áreas de formação e de intervenção do profissional de Educação Física.
